Kidzania!

So for A's birthday she had a choice of presents, party or a day out and she chose a day out in London. For an 8 year old choosing a day out over presents is a big thing so it had to be a big day.

so for a day out i had a look around to see what fun things that we could do in London whilst obviously trying to keep the cost down as it's January and kids want everything that they see anyway. so i had a look at the museums, London eye and Madam Tussauds. They they were all either only part open or seemed expensive for two little girls who may not even be interested. So i came across Attractiontix.com who i thought only did Disney tickets but it turns out they are great for days out and short breaks etc.

We went to Kidzania in London at Westfield shopping centre. We had a look on their website to see what it was all about and find out if it was worth the money as we hadn't heard a lot about it really. I had seen on Stacey Soloman's instagram before that she had taken her boys here but they are a bit older than my girls. so we did a little investigating on youtube and different websites etc. "An indoor city run by kids" it quiet literally is what it says. the go and do jobs to earn money "Kidzo's" so that they can then pay for different activities that they would like to do.

So on Attractiontix.com they had adults go free with every paying child ticket so we snapped up that offer as most of the time you are paying more for the adults even though we are just following the kids around all day. so we paid £36 per child. I love a good bargain or saving some money so this was a great find. If you are looking for a day out always look around as you never know what deals that you may find. So normal standard charges are: children are - £32 and adults are - £16.50 so for a family of four it would be - £97.00!! that is a lot of money before you have even left the house.

I would highly recommend getting the earlier time slot as it can get very busy around lunchtime and each activity they have to queue and wait for go in earlier do the longer ones first. I would also suggest taking food and drinks with you only because once you are in you will definitely know this by the cost of things we didn't think of this before getting in there so by the time we got in we wanted a drink we bought a can of diet coke for £1.50! There is a small shop cafe and restaurant were you can purchase food and drink from. There were a lot of people who had food drink and snacks with them which i would probably do my self next time.

So the themeing in here is brilliant the entrance is like an airport highly sponsored by BA this theme continues as you get to passport control and immigration. Once here you all receive a security wrist band even the adults receive these. It all states to get there 15 mins earlier i would recommend a lot longer as you have to queue to get your tickets and then queue to get your wrist bands etc. So you receive your security wrist bands and your Kidzo's at the passport check in desks. Each child entering is given 50 Kidzo's upon entry to spend inside. The check in clerk's will explain what to do and the ruling's of Kidzania they also explain about spending and receiving Kidzo's. Once you have gone through all the information and rules then you can enter Kidzania.

Kidzania teaches kids all about being a grown up the jobs you have to do to be able to earn money to spend on cool exciting things that you want to do for example WWE experience. It was so great to see kids just being kids and wanting to pretend to do grown up things. Grown ups are not allowed in to the activities they stand outside and watch through the window. Which i personally love as so many times we have been places and the girls have been pushed out of the way or can't see because there is a grown up in the way it was so good to see them all get involved and be confident and have a go!

There are over 62 activities to do within Kidzania including; aeroplane pilot, cabin crew, news presenter, fire fighter, police, surgeon, special care baby nurse, air conditioning technician, window cleaner, chocolate factory worker, delivery servicemen, vet, bank, dentist and many many more. So you book a time slot and you have 4 hours to explore Kidzania! Go and check it out now and experience everything that your kids would want to grow up to be!

Let me know what you thought of this post and if you will maybe consider visiting Kidzania.

each activity has a plaque outside that says how many children can go in at any one time, how much it is in Kidzo's how long it is and the age range it starts from.

AO review

so the worst thing in any parent or adults life happened to us on Wednesday.

Our fridge freezer stopped working!!

i mean how did people cope without them. I even ended up putting my milk outside so that i could at least have a cup of tea. These things always seem to happen no where near payday and on your day off.

So instead of going to the nearest pay day loan company we went straight to AO.com.

we ordered a washing machine from them last year too.

So they currently have a sale on as well. i wasn't sure when the payment would come out or what one to choose of anything i needed to get it sorted as soon as possible. So i called the helpline and spoke to the most helpful and friendly person. He went through everything he possibly could with me. Now me being the blonde i am i didn't have a clue what i was doing he explained every step and all the details fully. He also offered to call me back to finalize so that i could confirm everything with the husband too. There was no presure or hard sell he took an interest in why i needed a new on and had a conversation as well rather than pressuring in to getting it done there and then for the sale.

Now middle of January i don't have the sort of money to buy a new fridge freezer out right which i'm guessing that most normal people wouldn't either so AO can do it on Finance as well so anything over £199 you can get on finance. With the Finance there are lots of options available so you can choose the one that suits you and that you can afford spread the cost improve your credit score at the same time as well as this will help you in the long run.

AO also do the options where they will take away your old appliance and recycle them as well this way they won't be sat outside your house for months until you finally call some one to take it away. They also advise and offer coverage, connection and plumbing if needed as well (obviously there is a charge for this) however with that charge it gets added on to you initial payment so you still don't pay anything until the first payment comes out.

You also get 14 days to return it if you not satisfied as well which is great because with a bit purchase like a fridge freezer or washing machine you don't want to be stuck with something that you don't like or want.

Once you have decided on your new purchase you can also choose when you want or need it delivering (some days and times are at a charge) however there are time slots that are FREE. You are then able to track your order as well so you don't need to sit in all day.

They also offer a price match promise as well on all the top retailers!

At the moment they are offering an extra 10% off a new fridge freezer with the code - COOL10

Go check it out and see for your self how good AO.com are.

Film review

So Friday 5th was my birthday wooo!

Now we went to the Cinema it is a Showcase Cinmea De Lux near us. The cinema can be expensive however it is a special occasion after all. Our cinema now offers the reclining chairs as well so it makes you feel like to have your feet up at home watching a film.

We don't usually go out but my mum took the girls for the night so we would be silly not to really.

Now i have been desperate to see The Greatest Showman since it came out i mean who doesn't want to watch Hugh Jackman. I have to say Wolverine is my favorite hands down.

The Greatest showman is literally what it says on the tin. This film is absolutely amazing it is such a feel good musical family film. Which also has the likes of Zac Efron and Zendaya and for any Disney fan that's them sold before the film has even started.

The film starts off with them as children and they fall in love but the film isn't about their love story at all it is about this amazing man who had a dream of creating something different, unusual and complete wonderful. It shows you the real life ups and downs of his life and how he turned it around from being nothing and being frowned upon to being this man who is adored all over the world because he took a chance followed a dream and made others feel like they belong in a world that is so ugly and nasty.

If you don't like musicals or feel good films then this film maybe isn't for you but if you do then go and see it now as i know that you will not be disappointed. It is a PG and if i am honest i cannot wait for my girls to see this film as i know that they are going to love it too.
