do you ever step back for just a moment and think .. yea im blessed

so today is red nose day or comic relief no I didn't do anything for it Alexa had a dress down day at school but apart from that we didn't really do anything I do admit I did sit and watch the programme tho.

so today has been one of those days where a few things have happened or been said where I stop for a moment step back and look at how blessed I am. Listening and watching some of those awful stories on comic relief its terrible to  watch knowing that its all real! There was a story on the local news of a man who is one of my mums neighbours today of his awful domestic abuse attack I just think
wow.
I really am truly blessed I have a job a house beautiful happy healthy children fiance who loves me and would do anything for me or the girls, warmth, clean running water, food we have it all really watching my girls running and talking and smiling today showed me how overwhelmingly blessed I am. Is it just me who gets this sudden overwhelming emotion and could probably bust into tears any second (if not already)

Everyone has to start some where.

Hi. So I've decided to start a blog I've been toying with the idea for a while and though ahh heck why not. So my name is Lauren I'm a mummy to two little girls Alexa 5 and Ellie 1 I am engaged to my best friend (I know everyone says is but he was literally my best friend in secondary school)

I will try not to over load and write once or twice a week depending on what we do and if I have time. I like to voice my opinion so be warned. Comment and let me know your opinions as I like to be nosey too and who doesn't love a good gossip!
